Tucked down a small lane in Chalong between Rawai and Chalong Pier, Coconuts Cafe is a tiny wooden house on stilts surrounded by a garden of towering coconut palms. Originally someone's home, it now runs as a bakery-cafe with a short, affordable menu of homemade pastries, cheesecakes and doughnuts alongside Thai and vegetarian mains — Pad Krapow Kai Dow, Khao Soi chicken, spaghetti Phuket-style, truffle fettuccine — served on a shaded veranda that feels more like a friend's garden than a restaurant. Closed Wednesdays.
